Here are the "Rules of the road" for the RSU Library staff and patrons.

RSU Policy Guide

This set of policies includes rules and guidelines for the daily actions of staff and patrons of the RSU Library. It is intended to provide direction to staff and patrons in dealing with a variety of situations. Mission Statement

RSU Libraries and the Library Staff anticipate the needs of the university by fostering a welcoming environment that provides access to innovative resources and services, collaborative and quiet study spaces, and facilitates knowledge creation and critical thinking.

 

Vision Statement

RSU Libraries aspires to build an engaged community, preserve institutional knowledge and history, and be a hub for intellectual discourse and dynamic growth through strategic collaboration, continuous assessment, and support of the evolving needs of the RSU community.

Hours of operation

Fall and Spring Semesters:

  • Monday-Thursday 7:30 AM - 10:00 PM
  • Friday 7:30 AM-6:00 PM
  • Saturday: noon - 8:30 pm
  • Sunday: 1:30 PM-10:00 PM

Summer:

  • Monday-Thursday 7:45 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Friday 7:45 AM-5:00 PM
  • Saturday: CLOSED
  • Sunday: 1:30 PM-8:00 PM

Intersession:

  • Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00
  • Weekends: CLOSED

Breaks and Holidays--closed when the campus is closed.
