Nursing

Article Databases in RSU LIbrary

CINAHL and Science Direct will be your primary databases for research. They are a good starting point for nursing research. If you find an article citation with no link to the full text article, you may request the article through interlibrary loan.

Open Access Repositories

Open access repositories provide free unrestricted online access to resources.

Journals at Rogers State University Library

If you've found a citation for a journal article, but you can't find it in a particular database your next step is checking the Journals by Title link, it contains links for all of the electronic and print journals available to you through RSU Library.  If you find an item that you need that is not in our collection, you may request it through interlibrary loan.

DOI Searches

Some documents or articles have a DOI which is a unique number that can help you find the document or article. DOI stands for Digital Object Identifier. If you find a DOI number (for example: 10.7748/ns .29.29.33.s39), enter the DOI number in a DOI field of a database (if one is available) and the article or document attached to that DOI will display on your computer screen.
