Introduction to RSU Libraries

How to access and navigate STL web pages

Federal/State Depository

Stratton Taylor Library became a depository for federal government publications and information in the summer of 2006 and a member of the Oklahoma state publications depository system in May 2008.  The public has access to electronic versions of depository materials through the STL website.  Depository materials in physical formats are available on the second and third floors of the library. Users may search for materials using the online catalog.

“This library is a congressionally designated depository for U.S. Government documents. Public access to the government documents collection is guaranteed by public law. (Title 44 United States Code)”

Federal Resources

Stratton Taylor Library is a selective, or partial, depository for federal government publications and information. Government documents are received in various formats of paper, microfiche, CD, DVD and electronic.  Electronic documents are available online. Titles can be accessed through our online catalog.

Oklahoma Resources

The Oklahoma Publications Clearinghouse of the Oklahoma Department of Libraries was created in 1978 by the legislation to establish the state publications depository system. It collects and preserves publications from all state agencies in Oklahoma. The Clearinghouse distributes agency publications to 17 state depository members--RSU Library is one of the depository members.

These materials are available in our library collection.  Items are in various formats--books, magazines, journals, newsletters, flyers, posters, maps, reports, legal materials, and CDs.
